Blood Donation Camp
Buddha PG College, in collaboration with the District Hospital, organizes an annual Blood Donation Camp on the college campus. This initiative encourages students, faculty, and staff to voluntarily donate blood and contribute to saving precious lives.
The camp is conducted under the supervision of certified medical professionals. Students from the NSS unit take the lead in organizing the event, registering donors, and maintaining records. Each year, over 150 units of blood are collected and dispatched to regional blood banks.
Objectives
- Promote awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation.
- Address the critical shortage of blood in regional hospitals.
- Inculcate a sense of social responsibility among students.
Certificates of appreciation are awarded to all donors, and the college felicitates the top contributors during the Annual Function.
